Sleigh Ride

Our family went on a sleigh ride/ wagon ride to go visit Santa this year.  You loved the horses.  We sat in the front of the wagon and you would just watch the horses.  You kept your eye on Santa but were also fine to sit on his lap for a picture, you just refused to smile.

A few trips

This summer we took you to Disneyland, Santa Cruz, and San Fransisco while the boys were at swimming lessons.  You were such a good traveler, did great on the plane but then when we drove up the coast you weren't as impressed.  I think you missed having your brothers in the back with you. 
We road bikes across the golden gate bridge, you slept in the bike carrier the entire time.  We also went to an As game.

In October we went to Disneyland and you loved it.  You loved the carousel the most but you also like the other rides along with the characters. 

The leaves are falling

You LOVE leaves!  We have tons of trees outside and the leaves started falling.  The boys were raking the leaves so I decided to take you outside and let you play in a pile of them.  You loved it.  You sat and played in them and then would randomly try to eat them.  You love to be outside!  A day after this picture it started snowing and you weren't so sure about that.  We were walking outside with you and you just kept looking up not sure where the snow was coming from.  Dad fed you some and you immediately spit it out, he tried again and you ate it. 

10 months old

You turned 10 months old a couple weeks ago but the other boys were off track so we were busy playing in California so I just got to taking your picture today.  We were the only ones awake so I didn't have anyone to sit by the chair.  I got a couple cute pictures and then you came tumbling off the chair and started crying.  I caught you but still you were not going to take any more pictures.  You are such a happy boy as long as I'm in the same room with you.  If someone is holding you and you see me you start to whimper until you can get to me and then you grin and grin.  You love your momma.  You also love to have everyone stay in the room with you and when people leave you start crying a little.  It's so funny!
You can stand up and cruise around the furniture a little and you are starting to want to stand up in the middle of the room.  You love your walking toy.  You continue to be a great eater.  You love pancakes and waffles and all kinds of fruit, you also love chicken.
You still are obsessed with my hair, you pull it and put it in your mouth.  I have to keep pulling it away from you, and I had to cut 2 inches off my hair to take care of the mess.
You love your brothers and they keep you entertained.  Last night you cried when Ty and Blake went to bed and then crawled after them.  When Ty came back you grabbed him and gave him a hug and then hugged Blake.
You love everyone and when strangers will walk by you you just smile and sometimes wave.  Everyone always comments on what a cute boy you are and you sure ham it up for them.
We sure are enjoying you and love you so much!  You continue to be such a happy sweet boy and I just enjoy my days with you, I can't imagine life without you in it!

What do you eat?

I've had so many people be amazed that you eat "real food" and not just baby food.  It seems normal to me but then I guess most babies don't have a mouth full of teeth like you do.
Here are a couple days of what you eat.

Day 1 of eating
Breakfast toast, apple slices, chicken
Lunch crepes, apples
Dinner chicken, carrots, celery, and a few noodles

Day 2 of eating
Breakfast - pears and bread
Lunch - grapes, avacados, cucumbers
Dinner - banana and cucumbers

Day 3 of eating
Breakfast - huckleberry pancakes
Lunch - Bananas
Dinner - Black beans, Rice, chicken

Day 4 of eating
Breakfast - whole wheat waffles & blackberries (the blackberries were super sour so I wasn't sure what you would do with them but you ate them right up and wanted more)
Lunch - chicken
Dinner - 

You love to eat, you love carbs and you will try anything.

Walking . . . . . or at least trying

You have discovered that you can walk behind this little toy.  Your brothers love to help you get up and then coach you on walking.  You can push the little cart and walk across the room with it.  You've started to cruise along the couch a little bit too.  It's so cute!

Halloween

You were a lobster and dad and I were cooks for Halloween.  You fit perfectly into the pot, and would just sit there.  We went to the ward party and when you were in your costume you just snuggled with Hunter Wiley and mom and dad.  We left a little early to put you to bed.  Later that week we had the McCoy party.  You were a little freaked out by everyone and just wanted me to hold you and snuggle with you.  You would look around at everyone and then just snuggle into me.  Everyone thought you were sick or not feeling well but I think it was just the crazy hair and the grandparents dressed like hippies.  ha ha  After a  while you were fine again.  You make such a cute little lobster!
